YES that will work. I did it. But you need to get some tough orange leather footballs to put on the end of your cross pieces so you can slide/hover around with light skids. Paint a big white circle around yr Exec (perfect machine) and make sure you don't leave it or go higher than two feet until you can hold it still and do a 360 rotation both ways. Then you are about ready to fly.... It took me about 1hr and is easier on flat grass as the ground cushion is more forgiving. You will learn more about that later on in your career. Keep an eye on your fuel level as it's easy to forget when busy flappin!!
