After reading threads on here this summer was dreading arriving and departing at LHR. In last few weeks have been SLF on following JFK-LHR-MIA with AA and LHR-CAI-LHR with BA. On each arrival at LHR apart from a few circuits in the hold there was no problem with getting a stand and disembarking. BA had quite a long baggage delivery time on our arrival from CAI and we had a 45 minute departure delay waiting for ground staff to do the push back. The BA cabin crew were excellent, I am not so sure the extra paid for world traveller plus though was really worth it ! Additionally had no problems with immigration or security at LHR, guess I was lucky, next in UK for Christmas so hope for repeat performance.
