This is how the company will treat their most senior crew in HKG. You can become a C+Ter, fly the freighter(less salary) or sod off at 55. But if you were lucky enough to be on a basing you can stay on A scales for another 10 years! Ironically, many senior pilots are excluded from basings when they get close to retirement!
