Just got the latest "Flight Safety", CASA's premier safety communication tool to the unwashed. In it, I read "In the Lockhart River accident, the crew commenced an instrument approach but clearly broke off the approach, descending below the applicable lowest safe altitude to maintain or gain visual cues." (Bolding mine) Elsewhere in the mag I read "This magazine undergoes extensive technical and fact checking process." Have read CASA's and Coroners reports in detail. Advice welcome as to should I ask CASA for next weeks Tatts numbers.
