Firstly, from my own experience, not necessarily, unless you really want to.
Secondly, I believe you need to have been assessed average or above throughout flying training and be post "wings", which you obviously are. It also needs to be approved by 1EFTS and/or GCFT. At one time I believe it was only post Linton holdees, but
I believe it's potentially open to post DHFS and METS too (although I stand to be corrected, and judging by the length of some holds now that may be somewhat futile).
