A question for anyone who flys or instructs on Diamond DA40D aircraft. How is it possible to get the weight and balance into the utility range, with two average size adults in the front seats? This, it would seem, is an impossibility if the occupants weigh more than nine and half stone!
Looking at the documentation of the original test flights, it would seem that Diamond employed a specially starved test pilot for the job. Am I missing something? Has anyone else encountered this problem?
