If you enroll in an approved CPL course you are considered a student as far as centrelink is concerned. I agree banks are unfair but you can't blame them. Would you risk loaning someone 40K when their earning potential is only around 40k in the first 5 years of employment?
Yeah i can defintley see it in that respect as well and as havick said not like you can sell them your pilots licence.
Uni is a huge decision to make and it could be good, but im worried coming out the end and not having a CPL, would do my PPL though.
I had a sudden thought go to the bank get a nice big student loan and get a loan you repay after uni and say its for uni and use it for flying
