I would stick with someone like Lloyds.I have been with Mashreq for years and have had all sorts of hassles.Be very careful with any Dubai bank with respect to credit card insurance to cover for credit card fraud.Banks like Mashreq have no cover in the event of fraud on your card and you will be totally liable.We have had many cases of EK pilots having to pay large sums to Mashreq.What they do to help is any time I use my credit card downroute you will recieve a call from Dubai to confirm that you have used it.This is good and bad I suppose.Mainly good for Etisalat.
