Actually Paderborn does very well and has only been axed due to a wider policy change of UK flights by Air Berlin rather than anything specific at BOH. The route is used extensivly by British Forces and their families moving between all the bases in and around Salisbury Plain and BFG bases in and around Paderborn. I know lots of people 'narked' by its closure at the end of next week.
Madrid was doing very well, all the flights I was on were over 80% full and many business pax were using it as a transfer to Iberia for onward flights. As Lovejet said, Shannon, Marseille and Nantes all struggled due to the last minute launch but were picking up over the summer. Would be surprised not to see at least Madrid and Marseille back as a summer destination in 2008.
