So, you don't suggest trying other branches and then swapping over!?
I considered the RAF for a long time, as i was in the Air Cadets and at a VGS, everything was focused towards the RAF! However when it came to chatting to the guys at the AFCO, the RN people were far more helpful and enthusiastic than the RAF, who really do put you down.
Also i like the idea of being on a ship with an aircraft, instead of being stationed somewhere for three years (I know i could be at Culdrose or Yeovilton, but there'd still be hope). Surely you'd get to see a little more of the world than with the RAF?!
