Circuits wouldnt actually require you carrying your licence... as long as you could produce it quick-smart. It would already be at both the departure and arrival aerodromes, so no worries.

(1) ... the pilot in command of an aircraft, when flying, must carry on the aircraft:
(d) unless CASA otherwise approves, the licences and medical certificates of the operating crew
