I have no problem with cabin crew of any race - Cathay has quite a few western cabin crew and they provide the same level of service as those from Asia. It's the culture of the airline and its service that is important, not where the staff were born.
And CX's crews are just as good in J or Y (which I fly more often than F in fact).
