Is this something new? The Napier Park project, at the bottom of Airport Way, was to include a 4/5 star hotel for the airport, but I think this is still going through the planning stages, so could this be something totally different.
Yes this is a different hotel and will back on to the station platforms. I have found this from the councils website.

The hotel will be over 7 floors and have 255 rooms. I have no idea who will operated it but work has already started in fencing off the area.
