EuroManx LCY
EuroManx secured the slot for the simple reason that one became availble and they were prepared to invest in a peak hour slot. With the previous unreliability of BE and IOM-LGW in the morning the Islands business pax lost faith in BE and switched airline and airport. Trouble is the present 0815 IOM departure is a little late than some would like. Now we there is the opputunity for an 0725 departure to compete better with FlyBe. Also expect to see capacity increase on this route with EuroManx. The current -200 series is reguarly full most weekday mornings. True VLM will still be the mornings first arrival from LCY but There IOM-LCY is a 1600 departure meaning first and second IOM-LCY flights are EuroManx at 0725 and 0815.
