Please Could Somebody Help Me Out
Hi all,
In the uk we have the ANO, what is the applicability of these regs when flying abroad? (including maintence, definitions of VFR, what night and day is defined as for the purposes of PPL holders).
Also...
The ANO states that a licence holder must not act as a memeber of the flight crew of an aircraft reg in the uk if they know that their physical or mental condition renders them temporarily or permanently unfit ro do so.
BUT
The JAR FCL provision is different in that is more stringent, mentioning surgical operations needing to be reported to an AME, and other things like clinic admissions of more than 12 hrs etc.
MY QUESTION IS: which do we take notice of!!! very confusing!
My personal take on it would be just to stick with what is in the ANO, as this is what has been enacted as law in the uk. The fact that the JAR FCL provision is slightly different, and the fact that my medical quotes JAR FCL 3, is the bit that i cant get to grips with!
