You want to know? Ok, since you demand it, I'll tell you la.

Whether you get into SIA, SIACargo or Silkair all depends on whether the respective subsidiaries foresee the demand for pilots in the next 2 years. So, luck of the draw, not performance. Like what Joyce would say, "Fly is still fly wat. No difference."

Ground school in Seletar for 6 months gives you a Singapore SPL (woohoo), a frozen ATPL, Performance A, technical papers and type-rating for Cessna 152, Cessna 172 and the Baron BE58.

You go to Perth (not Brisbane, yet) where you get your Australian SPL (woohoo again), and your CAAS CPL with the lot.

Jet training in Brisbane (Maroochydore) is on the Lear45.

If you are joining Silkair, you do not go to Brisbane. After returning from Perth, you start your A320 conversion training. If you are in the mainline, you will be on the 777 conversion. If you are in Cargo, you will be on the 747 conversion. Takes about a year from the time you start ground school until you get your two bars.
