Afternoon people, just wanted to know if Virgin are still considering Bermuda as a possible future destination?
I was talking to someone in Bermuda who works within the tourism department, and according to him they approached both Virgin and Zoom about setting up shop, ideally breaking British Airways 60 or so year monopoly and thus bringing down the high air fare, according to him BA gave Virgin a tough ride during the application process and they subsequently decided against Bermuda to concentrate on the Caribbean market instead.
Thus looking at the success of Zoom, im wondering if Virgin are regretting their decision of not flying there, are their any chances of them re-looking at BDA.
