I’m from the US and a new pilot at Emirates and I don’t consider myself a cowboy. I’ am a professional pilot and find your insults troubling. If you find our radio work so disturbing why don’t you like a professional address it and bring it to the attention of the offending American. If this radio work is a safety issue then it’s your professional responsibility to correct something that’s unsafe. If it’s because you personally don’t like it because you haven’t heard it in your long career then too bad because I intend to “roger that” in every sentence I speak. Unfortunately, for you more yanks are coming over here to fly’ “roger that.” Most of us came to the Middle East to fly and enjoy the friendship with our peers from around the world. We don’t speak of our fellow pilots like children nor get annoyed with things that are foreign to us. I have noticed that you are not proud of where you come from because you keep this fact hidden on your web posts. I on the other hand I’m a proud American I don’t watch OJ all day but will defend the right of anyone who does, and I’m sure if you look into your countries history it was some American that protected your right to scream for your football stars. Most Americans understand what’s going on in the world and we know that OJ is guilty and most of us hate cricket. The web has turned cowards into brave man. It has also given rise to people with other agendas to hide their real insecurities; it does continue to show the education level of its writer. You’re web posting appears to be written by a child who can nether spell nor form a complete sentence; I guess you received help from some child educated in the US. So continue your discussion about how much you and your colleagues hate the US or hearing us on the radios and we will continue laughing at you while drinking a cold one, “roger that.” I' am not leaving the company and don’t know of any American that is. Unless there is a safety problem and you intend to bring it to everyone’s attention, then get over it, learn to live with it, like I have learned to live with you picking your nose for six hours while eating out of the bag of nuts and your 20 minute radio conversation just to say oh “roger that,” or the language you call English. I’m a proud AMERICAN and I hold my head up high regardless of how much the dollars falls, how stupid our political leaders are, or who hates us in the world. Don’t poison the atmosphere at Emirates with the crap that’s going on in the world we are pilots not politicians. Anyway to end this stupidity I don’t care how you or anyone else fills about America I only suggest that you stop trying to create this contaminated atmosphere at the company between the pilots. I won’t debate you or anyone else like a coward; we are both in Dubai and if you want to meet personally we can arrange it. “understand that’, “roger and out”
