May be a little biased, but i would choose the E120. Nice entry turbo prop, with quite a few E120's around Oz in Service today. Airnorth, Network, Regional Pacific, Pelair.
Would give an insight into the evolution of the systems on Embraer's E170/190, not to mention E145 and variants. Most importantly gettting used to the Embraer Yoke!
But above all, quite an enjoyable aircraft to fly.
Have never driven a Saab 340, so unable to make a comparison other than own personal bias, perhaps a ford holden type of thing
Would give my vote for the E120
