EMB pay is 80% of the same position's 737 pay. If you're thinking of joining I would look hard at either A320 operator before taking the EMB.
Most EMB flying will be between ports already served by
VB's 737s, although not necessarily on routes flown by 737s. Once a few 190s arrive the 170s can start the real regional routes, but they will be in the minority.
