I only aired my initial thought to express my opinion that parking one's car LCY is a major investment in the British economy. I had never come across the parking fees at LCY before as I am only using the airport travelling to London, having used all modes of public transport that are or were available at LCY - from the Silverlink trains to the DLR, double-decker buses or the old shuttle bus to Canning Town or Liverpool St.
Has anyone heard who has been approached for the possible HEL and BCN routes? Of course, BA would be the most likely candidate as both airport are the territory of oneworld. However, would they have any spare capacity. Given the recent success of the SAS routes to ARN, CPH and OSL, another option for HEL would be Blue1 (or SAS themselves code-sharing with KF)
