If you are based in a port with lots of overnights (ex, SYD, 7-8 overnights a month) you can expect another 7-8K p/year in DTA.
If you are based in Sydney this will all be taken up in the extra cost of living there, so you won't notice it.
Doesn't compare very well to QANTAS baggage loaders or refuelers does it ? Even a postie is only 12K behind a 1st year captain, and after tax even less.
Anyone know how they're going getting drivers from overseas ?
