Some EY Insight

Speaking of opaque management, here's a good one. Evidently, an email has been sent to pilots telling them not to give permission for ID ticket jump seats to Phils and Thais. According to talk going around the galleys, someone from one of these countries forged a captain's signature for a jump seat back home. So now management's action in response is to punish entire nationalities for the misbehavior of one. Seems like a rather silly, discriminatory way to deal with it but it does give some interesting insight into the way EY management thinks. Of course, this is a perk and I suppose they can do whatever they want. Still it is something to think about......
