If you're really looking forward to flying for an airline in the US, just be cautions going with a "big school" just because they claim to have "inside hirings" for regional airlines.

What they don't tell you is so does everyone else.. and regionals really don't care what flight school you come from.

I did my flight training in Central Florida.. seems that Florida had the best weather overall.. wasn't too hot or too cold.. plenty of sunshine, plenty of rain. If you like the desert, then you can try out west in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas.. or if you like the cold you can try places like University of North Dakota, University of Illinois.. or if you want something in the middle there are plenty of flight schools in Oklahoma, Kentucky.. most likely in every single state has major flight schools.

I think for finance concerns, you'll want to find the cheapest overall price (though it's always estimated), cheap living conditions (Central Florida is more expensive) and the local area.. Cities in the West are generally more compact.. while cities in Central Florida are spread out.. causing the need for either transportation, or if you own your own vehicle.... more gas.
