sounds like your in the same situation as me, sort of. Im flying GV on US licence in the uk. Ive done all the writtens and they run out May next year so i now need to start thinking about it.

I dont have to do an approved course as i have more than 1500 hrs on jets. I could do it at flightSafety with a CAA guy in Feb to observe. which would be the quick fix solution, but company wont pay for the test portion, as they dont need a JAA ticket. my other option is to do the CPL multi IR at maybe Cranfield or Coventry on the Diamond Star. Not sure on what hours i need to do etc. Cost i think would end up being about the same. could be a bit of fun to fly a small piston again hmm??
