You will have an exam every day in the morning covering things you learned the day before and also things you may have been asked to read in the manuals etc. There is an 87% pass mark, and all the exams are multiple choice, except the PELDS which you have to write out. If you fail then you will have to resit an slightly harder exam on the same subject the day after in at the end of the day again multiple choice. If you fail this then you go to a viva which is a verbal exam that will require very detailed verbal answers. This is taken the following day. So you really don't want to fail exams as you are then playing catch up and there is a lot of work to do!
Some people do fail the course, as they fail one exam and then it really does put a lot of pressure on you! My advice is work hard on the course and give up ant social life for a few weeks and then once you've passed let the fun begin!
