As a very small percentage of applicants for QF Cadets are succesful, there will still be plenty of quality people availabl for Rex. In fact, as they seem to be offering a substantial subsidy to the training, some may well prefer Rex to QF.
Very true, i jumped to conclusions in my first post. When you think about it 10/300 cadets make it at Qantas. That leaves REX to be very picky in who they want. I seriously cannot see someone who would choose REX over Qantas. In the long run a Qantas capt
could be making 300K a year flying 747's all around the world whereas a REX capt could make 70K a year flying to regional destinations. That doesn't leave out the fact of receiving your training at REX for half the price then applying for direct entry at Qantas. That would give REX the sh!ts.
