Metroman,
So, I'm wrong for not trying to bribe to get my AOC or wrong for even thinking of trying? *shrugs* Your kind of reply gives no incentive for anyone to try and do it right... more like a "stamp" to brand everyone here as corrupt and bribeable...

Now tell me, who in Indonesia got their AOC in one day? Even Adam Air who has indications of preferring to bribe someone for US$100k to hush up a US$10k maintenance problem instead of spending the US$10k on the maintenance, even they didn't get their AOC in a day!

Interestingly enough, someone tried to bribe to get an AOC last year, to "the right person" and he was quickly shown the door... and that was with "the right amount of money", even then, he was told to wait for 2 months (the regulatory waiting period), and still got given the full review treatment!

Bribery happens, but an AOC in a day is a bit too far fetched, despite knowing how bad things are in Indonesia!
