An unfair reputation. The Twin Comanche suffered from being used as a trainer in the days where a demonstration of VMCa was required on checkrides in the US at least. Its problem was a very
low VMCa, too close to stall. The solution to that particular problem was to raise VMCa on paper. It is quite docile on a single engine at max weight, with marginal climb capabilities just like the other light twins cited (Seminole, Duchess, Seneca).
