Ok - here's my go:
Flight landed on a wet ungrooved runway at CGH with No2 reverser locked out under MEL. For an as yet undetermined reason a significant forward thrust well above idle was maintained on No2 engine, with reverse selected on No1.
Accordingly the spoilers did not deploy, and the a/c left the left-hand end of the runway (35L) and impacted with a building killing all on board.
We await the accident findings.
We do not think that we have the full CVR available (here) nor possibly the full FDR. Rumours and speculation abound as usual.
