There's thousands of people watching the air show. Their friends & family at home probably want to know that it's not a repeat of Ramstein, Lvov and others. It's probably fairly obvious to those listening to the TV that if an aircraft goes down that the pilot might be injured; it's less obvious whether spectators might be involved. It's going to be relatively simple to get information on whether spectators are involved compared with reliable information on the condition of the pilot. That will come later, when somebody knows. It's really not hard to work out.
