Go do some circuits in a Piper Cub.
The approach is (seems ?) slower to me, and you can flare the aircraft properly and see it, and hold it off for a a proper landing.
Also the ground rush does not seem so pronounced to me................
but then I'm biased - I'm a cub pilot !
