ENGINE & AIRFRAMES INSTRUCTORThis is an ongoing vacancy READING
£24000-£27000 A vacancy exists for an Instructional Officer to work for the MOD in the Aircraft trade discipline (Airframes & Engines).The successful candidate will be responsible to the Aircraft Training Manager for classroom and practical instruction on any topic within the Airframes & Engines discipline and various allied subjects.

Responsibilities include:
* Lesson preparation and the production of training support material.
* Control and supervision of students including the application of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.


Experience and Qualifications:
* Recognised apprenticeship or a relevant alternative period of training,
* Obtained an ONC, BTEC, CGLI or NVQ in the Aircraft Trade Discipline.

Also:

* Candidates should have extensive knowledge of avionics systems.

Salary:
* £24,000 to £27,000 pa dependent on the level of qualification, experience and skills.


Benefits:
* 25 days paid annual leave plus 10.5 public and privilege holidays.
* Generous in house training package and may consider funding external training and development.
