The accelerated option is in the FOM but will
never be in your contract. You would only get accelerated if there were no 3 year F/Os eligible for command on your fleet. So were you to join now you would not get accelerated. We have many F/Os with more experience than you that are still waiting. Is that the answer you are looking for?
The goal posts can and do change all the time, as they say, past performance is not an indicator of future performance...... When I joined it was 4500hrs, then went to 9,000 briefly before settling down at 6,000.
