Have you considered Professional Air Training?

I've never heard a bad word said against them and I've also been told by one of the Bournemouth CAA examiners that PAT turn out a consistently high standard of pilot, the best on the airfield (his words)

Take a look at this thread to see previous comments and perhaps post a thread to see if anyone can confirm that the standard is still extremely high as my experiences are a couple of years out of date. (2005)

PAT are always willing to show people around and they have details of past students that are willing to be contacted to offer opinions of their recent experiences with PAT.

It's also worth saying that PAT have now relocated to new premises in the North West corner of the airfield.
