that n reg malibu had a complete electrics failure and he was talking on a hand held radio - with terrbile range i will add to! He actually did not know exactly where he was at first as the back up gps would not go either. all atc had was a primary target - he was up at fl160 when all this happened.
I think he was totally nordo for a while before he was raised, by relaying to control.
as for the twin star - is the one that got hit by lightening flying again. apparently one wing tip got blowen off?!
