If I were asked the same question after I had led a BG through such a demanding Op tour my response would have been the same!.
Having worked with the Battlegroup on pre-deployment training I can honestly saw that they impressed the DS greatly. Much of the drive and profesionalism undoubtedly comes from a CO such as Lt Col Saunders.
Its about time those in positions of responsibilty actually say what they think! (within the realms of decency). What grips me is the manner in which Journos think "they have the right" to ask poorly phrased and sometimes offensive questions.
I am fully in favour of information being passed freely when there is no tactical disadvantage to do so, but sometimes it just makes you wonder what some people are thinking.
