Is he allowed to say that on TV?????
Lots of eloquent comments on the MOD Web from Lt Col Sanders, former CO of Basra Palace, on their withdrawal back to the airfield. But on tonight's BBC News, his response to a comment that his army was "defeated" was more blunt - he replied:
"That's bollocks! Does this look like a defeated army?"
Can we have more senior officers saying what they actually think please?
