If you look at the numbers you can make things sound great but in absolute terms they had just 29 sectors each way in the month and an average of 80 pax on each. That would equate to around £2million income per year on a £900 average return ticket price. Going to a second flight per day is not going to double the income to start with but will double some of the costs. The hard bit for them is going to grow passengers without cutting fares.
