Are they still in mourning after nearly 10 years.This just shows that the CAD don't have any idea.The 4NM sounds like we can't have 5NM but we are really scared to do 3NM because we might not be capable of it.It is crazy that there is CLK which cannot operate minmum vortex down final,because they are so conservative.
How much fuel is this costing the airlines? If I were in Cathy I'd be jumping up and down big time.Surely in this age of climate change,global warming,pollution etc, they would be working in a way the rest of the world has for decades to minimise delays.
Sorry Bekol I know that you are singing from the same hymn sheet on this.If someone in CAD would like to directly answer the question,why can't they use 3nm sep when they have the choice of 4 radars.It's not difficult.
