A friend of mine flew in to this event at the weekend with his children. As the icecream fridge in the marquee was full of beer he was directed by the lady there to the clubhouse.

He was stopped at the door and refused entry. He explained that he wanted to buy icecreams for his children. This didn't wash with the heavies on the door. Members only!!!

He pointed out that the marquee staff had sent him over, Members only!!!!!

He returned to the tent where the lady enquired why no icecreams.
She went to the clubhouse and got them for him.

Such crap treatment after a £10 landing fee beggers believe.
The people at the club must be right up their own backsides to treat a visiting pilot so badly especially in front of his children.

Well done to the lady in the marquee.
I doubt anyone from here will bother next time.
