George, Forget the answer to your question which refer only to grammar (You will get that alot on here). Basically if you have had a history of asthma as a child it can write you off as potential aircrew within the Royal Air Force, However there are certain exceptions to that rule - Only within the case of a mis-diagnosis from a doctor.
Your best option is to ask relevant questions to your GP, And obtain enough information to go to the AFCO in person and ask questions that can accurately give you the information you need.
