k3lvc I don't think that you mean the 'short stay' as in 'short stay car park'? You might mean a short stay in a long term car park!!
In order to prevent people (biz on expenses in particular) from using the short stay parks close by the terminals as long stay, BAA long ago put up the price of those. One friend of mine chose to stay Friday to Sunday evening and paid about £100 and that was eight years ago!!!
