Iceland : Airports of Entry/Exit
For those perhaps planning on visiting Iceland in limited range aircraft, it should be noted that Hofn (Hornafjordur - BIHN) in south-east Iceland is no longer an international airport. The closest international alternate is Egilsstadir (BIEG) some 60 or so miles further north-east of Hofn.
The only airports in Iceland available as legitimate airports of entry/exit are now : Keflavik, Akureyri, Reykjavik and Egilsstadir.
