Interesting to see that it's an 11 Sqn jet, when I thought it was 3 Sqn that was holding Q.....
In theory a Sqn allocated the QRA role will use its own a/c. In reality the sqn uses any availabe serviceable a/c that can fulfil that role, from any source on the station, including other sqn's. I am sure there are plenty of other reasons too!
