I always thought I learnt to fly in about 3 hours. It just needed 20 hours previous to that to get there
I do think that there is to much emphasis placed on solo. I actually prefer flying with an instructor. Every hour I fly solo, I get worse more slowly. Every hour dual, my flying improves
