Gabrielle Drake is still looking good at the age of 63! As for how she looked in the '70s, have a look at the movie 'Au Pair Girls' with Richard O'Sullivan in which, as 'Rani Lindstrom' for much of the time she wore just a smile......... There is a tenuous aviation link - in the opening credits at Heathrow (so I'm told ), you can just see the tail of the ill-fated Trident G-ARPI being removed following a ground accident. An Airspeed Ambassador went out of control when a flap actuating rod failed on final approach, it then collided with 2 Tridents and the terminal building.

As Lt Gay Ellis, Gabrielle Drake certainly improved the quality of 'UFO':
