I haven't seen a scramble that professional since 284 Sqn went on detachment to RAF Sculthorpe!
That was the most enjoyable part of the whole 3 weeks IIRC, watching overweight SNCOs pretending to be aircrew sweating like buggery as you strapped them in. Making them wait for start-up was real pay back time, especially on a red hot summers day.
