I have asked AKL crew if this was true and they have told me the opposite to what you have just posted.This could be nothing more than a gee up or maybe your post is too.
Only time will tell but the main problem with all of this is that we know you cannot trust the company.After bitter experience I know they will tell us anything if they think it is what we want to hear.
Before the ink is dry on any document we sign they will do what they want.
If we accept any new bid system we have to be sure that it has safety clauses involved in black and white.We should get someone to test the system or talk with other airlines crew who use this system.
We all know that the company will use any scare tactic to bluff us into submission.
The main point is that the junior crew have more to fear than the senior crew from any new work system.This is because they will be around longer than the senior crew.
