Yes I agree, Mr Phelans article was poorly timed and ill informed. Yes I agree, SK would of forgotten more on those airframes than most engineers would of known and Yes most of those aircraft are a absolute credit to him and his organisation. Interesting to note however that these crashes both involved female crew operating in turbulant conditions and at similar heights.
Please Mr Phelan, now isn't the time to vent your spleen or opinion on a company you know so well. I hope to see GAM's continue to operate into the future, as I feel that with some better check/training put in place it'd be the GA example of a great company operation!
